Marissa Batie-Collier, CEO of SG Mental Health Counseling, is a seasoned  social worker, Certified Parent Instructor, and Anger Management Facilitator. With over 20 years of healthcare experience, she is uniquely positioned to lead our organization towards fulfilling its mission and vision.

Marissa is committed to serving underserved and underrepresented communities by improving access to financial, medical, and mental health resources. Her extensive background includes roles such as Health Social Services Clinical Coordinator, Long-Term Care Manager, Therapist, and Pediatric Social Worker. 

Marissa is a graduate of Florida State University, holding both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work, and is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Alabama, Louisiana and Kentucky. Her expertise extends to Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, and she holds a Women & Minority Business Certification. Marissa’s dedication to community improvement goes beyond her professional life, as she actively contributes as an advisory board member of Tallahassee’s Crime Prevention Task Force and the Health Equality Taskforce.
