Apryl Evans, M.A. is passionate about your mental health!  She graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from Florida A&M University in 2003. After years of working in insurance and risk management, she felt it was time to go back to school and pursue her purpose in life. 

After that decision, she completed her master’s degree in professional counseling in 2020 with a focus on spiritual integration and multicultural studies. Her experience in substance use disorder, anxiety, coping skills, as well as a specialization in women’s issues makes her a valuable asset to the SG Mental Health Counseling team.

Apryl is a Deacon at her church and runs a spiritually focused mental health wellness group addressing the stigma around mental health issues that churchgoers are facing. Working at SG Mental Health Counseling is the manifestation of an actual dream, and she cannot wait to propel you towards your best self!
